Details below.

Summary:

Marquee Brands is a fast growing and dynamic consumer brand-focused private equity business that is currently seeking a Vice President with a passion for investing as well as a deep understanding of consumer brands to join its investment team. Marquee Brands sits within Neuberger Berman, a 75-year-old private investment firm with $443 billion of assets under management and over 2,799 employees in 39 cities worldwide as of June 2023. Neuberger Berman is one of the largest private market investors with over $120bn in client assets.

Marquee Brands is dedicated to acquiring high-quality consumer brands with a recognized heritage and proven resonance with consumers. Marquee seeks to create a unique and highly diversified portfolio of consumer brands for investors. Marquee’s current portfolio consists of 16 brands spanning home & culinary, fashion and active, outdoor & streetwear and includes brands such as Martha Stewart, Sur La Table, BCBG Max Azria, Ben Sherman and Dakine. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for consumer brands and be eager to hone their investment analysis, transaction execution and post-transaction operating capabilities. The Vice President should expect to gain a substantial amount of both investment and operations experience. Also, the investment team is small and tight-knit and Vice Presidents will receive significant direct interaction with senior investment team leaders, portfolio company management as well as direct exposure to key third-party stakeholders. Finally, the Neuberger Berman Private Equity platform is a highly entrepreneurial environment where employees are often empowered to think outside the box and develop new investment strategies and the Vice President is expected to play a meaningful role in that as well.
