Summary of Role
The SVP of Alternative Investments (AI) role will operate as a fiduciary for Noble Capital’s investment funds. The SVP will monitor financial and operational performance of individual investments to ensure portfolios meet risk goals. They will lead all aspects of the company’s Fund management platform in support of the vision to scale to 1 Billion of assets under management within five years. The SVP should be a proven executive leader of Alternative Investments, Fund Management, Investor Relations and Capital Markets Teams. They should operate through institutional grade, operational excellence and compliance . This role will own the full Fund management life cycle from, fund creation and fundraising to performance execution.  The ideal candidate should have an ownership and entrepreneurial mentality as an integral part of forming their growth and development path. No day is the same on this team so candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt.
Position Responsibilities
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals
  • Prepare and present financial and data analysis on private investment funds
  • Review Fund and department financial reporting
  • Maintain relationships with retail and institutional investors (Loan Buyers)
  • Daily portfolio monitoring and review
  • Perform monthly risk analysis and reporting
  • Provide excellent client service, set high internal/external communication standards, build and maintain strong relationships, and develop a scorecard system to monitor progress on achieving established metrics
  • Develop and mentor junior Fund Management/Investment team members, providing guidance and opportunities for growth and development
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, establish and strengthen policies & procedures, and model the highest ethical standards
  • Closely monitor market conditions, economic trends, and other relevant factors to provide actionable guidance
  • Oversee loss mitigation disposition process
  • Processing and collecting documents for secondary market trades and related activity
  • Track key metrics and produce reports for senior management which will be used for investor and advisor facing communication across all of Noble’s investment products and programs
  • Lead and run Investment committee and ensure standardized processes, execution and reporting
Position Requirements and Experience
  • Managed $250M+ Alt Investment Funds in one or combo of Private Lending, Real Estate, Private Equity
  • 5+ years Fund Management Experience
  • Excellent organization skills to create and maintain an orderly work environment
  • BA / BS degree required, degree in Finance, Business Management or Economics preferred
  • MBA preferred or master’s equivalent
  • CA/CPA or CAIA designation a plus
  • Series 65/66 licenses a plus
  • Tax matters and general compliance experience required
  • Experience qualifying funds for platforms (e.g., TD, Fidelity)
  • Procured and managed substantial leverage, co-invest or mezzanine finance vehicles
  • Raised money from RIA-Channel, HNW, U-HNW & Institutional
  • Managed modern and robust investor relations, reporting and communications functions
  • Possess the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in creating pivot tables and conditional formatting in excel
  • Experience in high paced and high stress environment a plus
