Job Summary

LMI is seeking a talented Portfolio Analyst to join the Strategy & Rates division of our Global Fixed Income (GFI) unit. This successful candidate will perform analysis for the portfolios and of fixed income markets and will also have responsibility to work on and manage numerous projects that are fundamental to the investment process. The Portfolio Analyst will provide essential analytical support to team members while reporting directly to the Director of Fixed Income Strategy within GFI’s Strategy & Rates organization. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our team’s expertise and driving our growth and success in the evolving global financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis for general account portfolios, investment data and fixed income markets
  • Manage and drive projects encompassing a broad range of topics requiring collaboration across numerous teams within the organization
  • Develop reports and presentations as needed to support investment themes and to highlight essential project information
  • Leverage data and technology to improve analytical processes and enhance decision-making capabilities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as risk managers, data team, technology and corporate teams

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in portfolio analysis or investment management with a focus on fixed income securities
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute with multiple stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Tenacious problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
  • Experience with Blackrock’s Aladdin investment platform and Bloomberg is preferred
  • A keen interest in Investments and excitement about delving into fixed-income market intricacies and continuously enhancing knowledge in this domain
