The Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado administers a statewide multiple employer public employee retirement system providing defined benefit and defined contribution benefits for police officers and firefighters throughout the State of Colorado. Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the Sr. Investment Analyst – Operations has primary oversight of FPPA’s custodian bank relationship to ensure data integrity for performance and holdings reporting. Responsibilities include reconciling and reporting estimated and final performance, calculating performance attribution and maintaining all associated benchmarks, maintaining document and risk management systems, and responding to external and internal information requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Progress toward or achievement of the CIPM certification or CAA (Chartered Asset Allocator)

· Knowledge of investments and investment analysis

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to learn investment analytics software utilized by FPPA.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Final candidates are subject to a drug screen, background check and reference checks

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $125,000 ‐ $145,000 plus incentive compensation. Includes group medical, dental, vision, 401K, defined benefit though Colorado PERA, life insurance and long‐term disability.
