Job Description

A private credit fund is looking to appoint a Portfolio Analyst to its team based in Central London.

This role suits someone with around 2-3 years’ experience in accounting/finance. You might be someone who has pursued an accountancy qualification and decided that financial reporting isn’t for you. Ideally, you’ll have a background in financial services; however, this isn’t essential.

The incumbent will cover a segment of the firm’s eclectic portfolio of companies, and responsibilities will include:

  • Portfolio monitoring and analysis
  • Preparation of valuations
  • Portfolio management project work
  • Pipeline/dry powder analysis
  • ESG tracking and reporting

Our ideal candidate:

  • Strong academic background – a relevant degree in finance/investment management would be advantageous but not essential
  • Undertaking or recently completed an accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or looking to pursue CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAA (Chartered Asset Allocator) designation
  • Background in accounting is highly advantageous
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities

Compensation is likely to be around the £55,000 mark, with a performance-based bonus and wider benefits package.
