Job Description
Provide analytical and operational support primarily for the Aetna’s qualified defined benefit plan (Pension) and a funded post-employment benefit (OPEB) plan.

The Senior Analyst – Pension Investments is responsible for:

-Assist in the day to day operations of the Pension Plan including: asset custody, tracking liquidity transactions, expense management, financial / tax reporting and regulatory filings.
-Develop and oversee operating, financial and tax reporting platforms for pension investments and other investments.
-Develop working relationship with Trustee, Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO), and custodians.
-Reconcile plan and investment manager performance and assets to custodian and OCIO, and assist in OCIO benchmarking.
-Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Investments, Human Resources, Controllers) on pension plan capital management and accounting policy issues.
-Provide support of deliverables for benefit plan audits and SOX compliance.
-Assist in preparing Presentations/ Communications related to the pension plan.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 100,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
-3-5 years of experience in investment/securities operations/accounting.

-3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in the investment operations and pension / ERISA benefit plan
accounting/financial reporting areas is highly desirable.
-Familiar with Employee benefit plan audits
-Ability to multi-task with a significant attention to detail
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
-Proven analytical ability and strong organizational skills
-Sound written and oral communication skills

Education
Bachelor Degree (Accounting Preferred)
