Job Description

PFM Asset Management (PFMAM) is currently seeking an industry professional to assist with our Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) client management and business development efforts for its discretionary investment advisory practice as an OCIO Specialist.

  • This role will consist of managing institutional OCIO relationships and business development activities promoting our OCIO discretionary investment management services.
  • In terms of client segments, this position will be focused on Public, Taft-Hartley (Labor Union), Non-Profit, and Corporate entities.
  • PFMAM’ s OCIO business focuses on the middle-market and is national in scope.
  • All applicants should have a solid understanding of the institutional investment market and, ideally, experience working with institutional investors.
  • Responsible for providing high-quality client service, which entails conducting investment meetings with institutional clients.  These meetings could be held via phone, virtually or in-person.
  • Educate clients and prospects on current market events and investment opportunities.
  • Help expand the PFMAM OCIO business by identifying sales leads, conducting prospect meetings, attending regional and national industry conferences, and participating in proposal production and new business finals interviews.
  • Support other PFMAM and U.S. Bank Asset Management colleagues in their sales, marketing, and service activities as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
– Five or more years of related experience, preferably in portfolio management, sales, marketing, or relationship management with institutional clients
– FINRA series 6 and 63 licensed or complete series 6 and 63 testing within 120 days of start date

Preferred Skills/Experience
– Capital Markets knowledge and experience
– In-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services
– Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
– Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing client relationships
– Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $114,325.00 – $134,500.00 – $147,950.00
