The Investments Product Research job conducts market research and expedites idea generation through team collaborations and the streamlining of research processes. Under moderate supervision, this job prioritizes product development concepts and identifies key market insights.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participates in the due diligence research process of investment products and disseminates communications on company performance.
  • Engages business stakeholders and shares research insights that create client-centric investment product solutions.
  • Builds a comprehensive repository of market specific information that identifies thematic insights and best practices in product development.
  • Develops investment research deliverables based on client, corporate, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Assists with day-to-day product operations and researches trends in product development, brand positioning, and customer satisfaction.
  • Synthesizes market data and product information from multiple sources and makes recommendations for investment strategy.
  • Gathers data on investment products and generates reports that illustrate market performance.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of financial services experience; specifically in investment research

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of financial services experience; specifically in investment research & researching trends in product development
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CFA designation (or progress towards CFA designation)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skill
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Is self-motivated and assumes responsibility

Base Pay Range: $57,800/yr. – $95,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
