Ensign Peak Advisors is the investment manager for assets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Ensign Peak’s holdings purportedly totaled $140 billion, including $40 billion-worth of U.S. stock, timberland in the Florida panhandle, and investments in prominent hedge funds such as Bridgewater Associates. Ensign Peak Advisors is an affiliated organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  In support of the Church’s global mission, Ensign Peak Advisors manages the financial reserves of the Church and provides cash management services to fund Church operations.


  • Assist in the resolution of complex securities issues.
  • Assist portfolio managers with complex security transactions.
  • Assist with monitoring of portfolio performance trends.
  • Assist with monitoring trade and portfolio compliance.
  • Analysis and reporting of information for investment decision making.
  • Reconciliation of more complex broker and custody positions and outside managers.
  • Support the management of the investment reserves of the Church.
  • Support the accounting and financial reporting of investment results and positions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Working knowledge of investment products, services and securities processes.
  • Understanding of Church operations that interact with securities operations.
  • Understanding of accounting issues and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to work with subordinates as well as senior department management.
  • Certified Public Accountant a plus.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst a plus.
