JOB SUMMARY:

Clemson University is looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to support the Clemson University Foundation (CUF) in the following duties:

  • Provides investment operations analytical support for a diversified endowment investment portfolio including reporting, benchmark analysis, endowment return allocation, and communications with investment managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

50% – Essential – Communication, Benchmarking, Report Preparation:
Manage communication from outside managers and maintain internal performance and benchmark reporting. Responsible for preparing various reports for constituents and outside organizations, including but not limited to, other organizations within the University, outside consultants, reporting associations, and the CUF website and Board of Directors.

30% – Essential – Alternative Investment Portfolio Support:
Management of capital calls and distributions related to alternative investments portfolio and journal entry support for such transactions, including allocation of earnings and market appreciation.

15% – Essential – Special Projects:
Special projects at the direction of the Investment Operations Manager, the Chief Investment Officer, the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, the Chief Executive Officer/President, and others as appropriate.

5% – Essential – Invoice Payment and Expense Reimbursements:
Payment of invoices related to investment activity. Responsible for expense reimbursement for the Chief Investment Officer or any other activity related to the Investments team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education –  High School or Equivalent

Work Experience  – Professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, and finance

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education – Bachelor’s Degree – Finance or related business discipline

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hours: 37.5/week

Expected Salary Range: $37,860.00 – $ 58,400.00

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
