Canterbury Consulting’s founders were part of the generation that pioneered the independent investment advisory service model. In 1988, they set out to build a firm focused only on providing objective guidance to construct portfolios. Embracing a fee-only advisory model, Canterbury would sell no investment products of their own. They would advise clients of the best fund managers by doing in-depth research and diligence on those managers.
As of December 31, 2022 we have grown from six employees to 67, and we advise on $28.7 billion in assets for endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations, and families.
