The mission of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management’s (JPMWM) Investments & Advice (I&A) team is to deepen relationships with Field Leadership and Financial Advisors, enhancing and maintaining our products, while providing them with best in industry platforms, solutions and advice.  The team engages and supports Advisors to provide product education and guidance, connecting the value proposition of our platforms with the short and long term goal of our clients.

This role will serve specific regions as the Strategic Solutions partner for Investments & Advice (I&A) for the JPMA business on product sales strategy and prioritization, investment insights and advice, and recruiting focus with investment specialization at its core. This individual work be aligned to Wealth Partners and will focus on the HNW and UHNW client segments to support growth efforts, special projects and help to drive long term growth initiatives. They will work closely with I&A Management Team members and the Head of I&A in a matrix structure in delivering results. This role will also be responsible for setting product-specific strategy and goals for each region in scope. She or he will also engage with Wealth Partners on client situations to provide investments and product advice and expertise, answering advisor questions directly and potentially with clients as needed. To be successful in this role, the individual will need to understand advisor needs, be knowledgeable of the evolving product and service landscape, and capable of partnering with stakeholders across the organization to deliver exceptional advisor experience. The incumbent should also have a strong understanding of the retirement space in particular the defined consulting and benefit spaces. The candidate should have a good sense of the ongoing regulatory landscape and a strong financial services industry network.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cover regional offices, acting as key partner to Wealth Partners in driving AUM and revenue growth
  • Gather field feedback and drive product and investments prioritization with product development I&A partners
  • Set product strategy and provide field the tools and advice to execute strategy with clients
  • Participate in advisor recruiting as need, providing insight on product and investment capabilities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Series 7, and relevant licenses
  • 15+ years in financial services industry with 8+ years of direct experience in Wealth Management leadership roles (Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Product Management, Investment Sales)
  • Self- starter with the ability to drive on own
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact effectively with individuals at varying levels of the organization with different responsibilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to execute on multiple objectives simultaneously in a demanding environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAA (Chartered Asset Allocator) is preferred
  • MBA is preferred
