Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate investment philosophy
  • Contribute to the overall division growth
  • Develop and manage the investment team
  • Establish procedures to ensure investment policies are consistently followed across the business
  • Lead the investment team in developing market commentary and analysis on behalf of the division that informs overall investment strategy and allows clients and prospective clients to understand the division’s approach to investment management.
  • Responsible for decisions around asset allocation and market outlook.
  • Build deep relationships with ultra-high net worth international and domestic clients to achieve long term financial goals by understanding and anticipating their needs and implementing tailored solutions
  • Responsible for product selection within client accounts and ensuring that a prudent framework is maintained for investment decisions made by investment professionals across the division.
  • Ensure that the division is properly carrying out its investment responsibilities across a variety of different account types, including but not limited to, discretionary investment management accounts, IRAs, and trusts and estates (agency and where TRB is serving in a fiduciary capacity as trustee or executor).
  • Enhance the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting department functions

  • Highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for maintaining effective relationships with Board members, officers, employees, and members of the business and civic community.
  • Individual should be able to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and perform at times in high pressure situations
  • Ability to remain calm and composed when under stress
  • Provides a strong, compassionate and visible leadership, which fosters positive attitudes and trust among employees, customers, and prospects.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and all established bank policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CFA preferred but not required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in private client wealth management as an investment professional with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Industry experience helpful
  • Knowledge of investment markets preferred
  • Knowledge of wealth management including investments, trusts and financial planning preferred
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving, team-based environment
  • Experience in Asset/Wealth Management/Brokerage environment
  • Experience interfacing with outside vendors (i.e. Custodians, Fund Companies/Administrators)
  • Proven team player with the ability to effectively collaborate with others
  • Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Able to travel, if required
  • Must be physically present in the Bank to perform the job duties.
